Workshop/Base Personnel Salary & Benefits Survey 2013

StonesEver wondered how salaries and benefits in your organisation compare against others in your marketplace?

Following the success of the 2012 survey, The Urquhart Partnership are again conducting a salary and benefits survey covering Workshop/Base personnel. New to the 2013 survey is the inclusion of Offshore/Field Service/Support job roles and some additional base operations roles.  The survey has been specifically developed for the service/support sector of the oil and gas industry and focuses on e.g. manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, servicing and repair operations.

The 2013 survey will cover the following job roles:

Workshop Supervisor / Chargehand
Senior / Mechanical Technician/Engineer
Senior / Electrical/Electronic Technician/Engineer
Trainee Technician/Engineer
Yard / Warehouse Supervisor
Yard / Warehouse Operative
Offshore / Field Service Supervisor
Offshore / Field Service Technician/Engineer

What are the benefits?

Taking part in the survey will allow you to benchmark salaries and benefits in your organisation against other companies in Aberdeen/North-East marketplace. You will receive straightforward and informative data including information on:

      • Salaries/hourly rates
      • Hours of work/shift patterns
      • Overtime rates
      • Ad-hoc offshore allowances
      • On-call/call-out payments
      • Employee benefits e.g. holiday entitlements, pension plans, sick pay schemes

You will be made aware of the other companies which are participating in the survey but the output data will be presented in an anonymous way so as not to disclose any specific organisation’s submission.

Taking part is simple:

If you are interested in participating, please let us know by close of business on Friday 25th January. We will then issue you with straightforward and easy to complete Data Collection sheets. Survey results will be issued mid-late March.
