We think there is nothing better than sharing knowledge. (Ok clearly there’s lots better things like eating cake or going on holiday, but that’s way less relevant on a business related blog…so try to stick with us…)
It’s such a simple idea – you help others by sharing some expertise or knowledge and have the opportunity to learn from others with varied backgrounds and experience in return. So everyone’s a winner.
If that sounds of interest, you may want to have a look at Business Know How North East – a programme set up to enable private and third sector organisations to share their knowledge and experience.
The programme aims to promote business mentoring, develop relationships between the sectors, enhance the skills, leadership and financial stability of the third sector, as well as promoting corporate social responsibility within the private sector.
The partnership was established as a pilot project over 3 years ago between The Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce, AVCO (Aberdeen Council of Voluntary Organisations), Aberdeenshire Voluntary Council and The Royal Bank of Scotland.
Today, there are approximately 400 third and private sector members of the Business Know How Network, but just like any network, the more members there are, the stronger and more effective it is.

Oh, and feel free to share the link…because that’s what it’s all about. Altogether now…oh hokey cokey cokey…
